October 4, 2015 — I mean, what other city on the planet throws a Halloween parade on October 1? But that's how Salem, Massachusetts, does the holiday...with Jack-o's blazing. This was my first Haunted Happenings Grand Parade and from ghouls in hearses to witches in covens to showers of candy, it was everything I could possibly want from, well, Halloween itself, I guess. Here are some of my favorite moments, cut together with low-end consumer video software and overlaid with music under a Creative Commons license. There's no man behind my curtain.
