Bury Me in a Place Like This: Chester Village Cemetery

October 22, 2019 — It was established in 1751, holds the bones of Revolutionary soldiers (including the young person killed in combat—a 12-year-old drummer boy), and has an interesting story that the many faces chiseled into the graves have happy or sad faces depending on how the stonecarver felt about them, but I love the place because it looks good dressed up for Autumn.
